SimpleSpleef is not so simple anymore - many, many, many features in the plugin

 

Please update for 1.6 when it comes out!

 

id love to see the ability to type in /spleef join and then appear in the arena
or perhaps on the /spleef start

also the ability to easily reoload the area would be nice

 

I will wait for 1.6 and see if I can extend the extension with some features.

 

why become players infinity stacks of a item?

 

Do they? Might be a bug in the newer versions of Bukkit. Could you give an example?

Ok, I hopefully fixed the bug by setting the amount given to 1. Could you check if it works on your server?

 

k at 3.00 pm we play spleef on the server then i check it

it works i have now bukkit #818 for minecraft 1.6.6 and the items now not infinity

one question: i am admin and when i use a command and i become a message that i have no permission but the command work....

default users too when they join that they have no permissions but next line in the chat they are joined....

It would be nice if there was a fully automated spleef plugin, define 1+ arenas, name them, people use /arenalist to find out what arenas are open or in progress, /spljoin <arenaname> to join an arena, pick teams, floor autogen, entire arena cuboided, players teleported into arena on correct side, and teleported back into a waiting/observing room on end, with spectator betting, player entry fees, and per player winning prize.

Then i could leave my server and people could do spleef. Sorry for the broken thoughts, it might be hard to follow. I was typing it up as I thought through the process and how it would be in an ideal server.

 

That's my spleef plugin. Check my signature. People teleported on the correct side & teleporting to a waiting/observing room hasn't been added yet, though.

where i can Change the Settings?
in my plugins folder does now folder wite the Name " SimpleSpleef" exist.

 

Did you restart the server? Did you look at the Log output when starting? Have you tried creating a folder "SimpleSpleef" by hand? Did you check the folder permissions?

 

Yes i have, no error and I yet created an ordner with the name, but it doesent work

 

Hm, sorry, I can't reproduce the error. What is your OS? If you delete the folder and restart the server, you should see the following lines in the craftbukkit log:

Could you set that the plugin with "herochat" might work?
Would be great if I do that, because of "Herochat" I would refer to the local chat instead of the server-wide scribblings then

What OS are you using? Java tries to read a character FFFD, which ist an illegal character in the UTF-8 encoding scheme. Can you open you configuration files in a decent editor and look for a strange code or two bytes FF and FD?

 

Could you make it so when someone types '/spleef join' they are teleported to the spleef arena.
Another thing that would be cool is that you are teleported back to where you were after you loose
and one more thing would be that you should be givin a shovel when you type '/spleef join' and when you leave the shovel is taken back

 

I will try to implement these features when I find some time within the next century

A new version should work with the new Permission system. Could you please check?
