Look :
i do : /md disguise cow
then i do : /home (i will teleported to my home)
then : /tp THISUSER (i will teleported to this TestUser)
and this TestUser see me as NORMAL
and not as Cow

/tp USER
Do they see you as cow?

 

yep then YES
but not when i do /home

and next :
when someone left the Game and then join he see me as normal ;D

 

Would be awesome if u could see yourself change too
and hear the sounds and all.

But for the rest, its working fine and its fun! ^^

Btw, the guy above is right. U get undisguised when you teleport to someone.
EDIT: ok a better explanation.

When you teleport to someone, you are still disguised, but when you teleport to someone else its like your default skin stays there like a shadow. To the other person it shows disguised till you teleport. Reconnecting turns it off but i would say thats normal.

ok firstly this plugin has potential to become my all time favourite bukkit plugin for scaring friends and people on my server.... CREEPER TIME!!! so thumbs up for that

few things though:
#1 "mobdisguise.*" doesn't work with permissionsBukkit, however after looking at the source code it seems the global permission should be "mobdisguise.use" once I had changed it to this in my permissions file everything started working so just a heads up that you might want to change your description in the OP.
#2 When I disguise myself my mate sees me change (which is correct) however when I hit F5 I still see myself as my normal player...not a biggy just thought it would be nice if I could also see the change, don't know if thats possible or not.
#3 Would it be possible to add the base minecraft character, so that I could change to the default skin to make people on my server think I'm either a NPC or a new player, I know I can spawn humans with SpawnMob
#4 Probably a longshot....but any chance of being able to disguise as Herobrine? preferably with his nameplate
#5 Oh also if I disguise myself as a mob with a pickaxe in my hand will the other players see the pickaxe?

I may be wrong, but I think your getting that error because you don't have BukkitContrib installed?

Try downloading the latest dev build from HERE and uploading to your server plugins folder, then reload / restart. hopefully that should fix it.

 

I did downloaded it,but forgot to put it in plugins folder...

Any items in hand will not be seen.
Herobrine won't be disguisable
You can't see yourself changed, its a Minecraft limitation.

Great plugin! would be cool if you could make something wich will make you invisible when in the dark or something (is that even possible?) It's also fun to scare the crap out of dudes on your server who think you are a creeper.

 

@desmin88 Thanks for the reply mate, been having a lot of fun on one of my public servers with this today....what should have been a quick 20min or so game turned into a few hours....most of it spent chasing people around as a creeper.

Also managed to freak my mate out by being disguised as a cow and following him where ever he went, I think it was the staring that got to him haha!

@desmin88 oh also one more thing, the 1.0.2 release still states 1.0.1 in the source.

Just installed on my mates server for him and he uses McMyAdmin which shows the version numbers without having to goto console.

I did a test on my local server.
I disguised one player, and walked far away. Then I teleported to a non disguised player, I still was disguised.
I then took the non disguised player, and walked far way. Then teleported to the disguised player, and was still disguised.
I can't reproduce the error.

However I can reproduce the error where when a player is disguised, and leaves, their skin is left behind.

But can't you set disguise for the player who's disguised ? with bukkitcontrib mod ?
