    Tribu - A zombie survival game !

    Currently looking for translators please contact me by PM if your language is not already translated or not fully translated.

    What is it ?
    Tribu is a zombie survival game in which you can set zombie spawns. Zombies will appear wave by wave once the game is started. You have to kill them! Each kill will get you money and points, and with the money you can buy items to kill more zombies. The game will stop when everyone is dead.

    I want showcase. Showcase drops an item on a particular block and it floats, you can't pick it up, and it makes for a wonderful shop that you can block off as you see in the trailer. Showcase allows you to visually see the item you are buying.

    If iConomy support isn't added I may have to convert everything to tribu money, but it would be much better if tribu had iConomy support, so we can use every plugin making tribu a truly versitile plugin.

    That doesn't solve the problem at all. If the spawning is random, and not focused on where the players are, then the game becomes a search for the zombies, that spawned at the other side of the map. Please add an option to only spawn zombies near the players.

    I know you have features to only enable spawners in the room that you have temporarily opened, but I need to be able to have the whole map open and focus the spawning near the players.

    The way that I would do this in code is calculate the distances from every player to each spawner every 2 seconds, and select the closest 3 to become active, only if the sign is enabled.

    I read your entire message, but I was just answering you that it's possible, so that you know. There was an option to see the item, like showcase do, on previous version but I removed it on this version because I thought it was useless, but if people want it, I can put it back.
    And I know that iConomy support will be appreciated, that's why it was on the TODO list.

    I will add your wish (to spawn zombie only if there is a player near the spawn point) to the todo list

    It has to be like, the 3 nearest spawners, because if it isn't then there will be places where zombies won't spawn.

    Whenever Tribu is on, spawn eggs don't work in dispensers. How can I fix that?

    i have found a error :S it says:
    [SEVERE] Tribu can't make dirs so it cannot create the level directory, you would not be able to save levels! You can't use Tribu!

    what do i have to do? is it because i have a new server version?


    If you want, i can translate it to the dutch language :) (i dont know how to PM)

    The plugin detect that it cannot make directories, so it's an error that you can solve by checking why it cannot.
    It's probably a permission error.
    The way to solve this depends on your os (linux/windows/mac).
    So try using chmod/chown if you are on unix (linux/mac) or try checking if the plugin directory is "read only" or try launching your server as administrator if you are on windows.

    is it possible to disable destroying blocks in a area around the tribu? I cant find it in the settings or on wiki xd

    sorry, i cant find a other thing: i have change pluginmode.autostart: true but when i join my server without op permission, i can join tribu, but the server dont start it automatic, so a OP or Admin has to do /tribu start :/ (do i have to give normal people on the server the /tribu start permission? or not? because when some1 joins the tribu, i have to do /tribu start :( mayby something to add next update?

    2. It's not possible to disable destroying blocks but you can revert changes, players will be able to destroy or place blocks but it will be reverted at end of the game. It works well with normal blocks but not that well with sands/redstone or doesn't works at all with water/lava
    3. Do you have set a level to load at start up ? If not, it's normal that it doesn't start because it doesn't know what level to launch !

    I need help, I read the wiki and still it doesn't work. I am trying to make a diamond sword with the "Fire Aspect" enchantment using a package. Here is a copy-paste of what I have:

    So I load up Tribu and it gives me a diamond sword with no enchantments. I double checked the wiki and I copied word for word the configuration and still no good. Also, when I try to delete a package (for this I would use /tribu package remove Fire_Sword) it says to put in a name even when I did. Putting the name twice (/tribu package remove Fire_Sword Fire_Sword) Makes another "Fire_Sword" package. Making three adds three, and so on. You can also make 2 packages with the same name. Also, spawn eggs do not work at all while a Tribu game is running.

    Hi I love this plugin but when I have it installed, I get this very over powered bug, either when you die your items don't drop on the floor and just dissapear or, when you die you keep your items on death. Here is my config...

    Hey, how would you completely disable the output on a particular event in languages?
    I mean, when I get a kill, I don't want it to say anything. Right now when I put a "" for it it sends a blank line to the player.

    The 0.6 Bêta 1 is now available

    Here is the changelog :

    • Now configuratble Zombie speed : can be random or not and can have a "rush" speed (when zombie is attacking you)
    • Reward method : Best/Percentage/Last/First .
    • Reward only alive people or even after dying

    • Configurable time to spawn all zombies, it's a polynomial function of the round number

    • World exclusivity (like server exclusivity but for world) (thanks rimidalv11)
    • Configurable Prefix
    • Putting a blank line in language file makes the plugin don't send the message

    • Fixed a lot of bugs (all known)

    I’m guessing this isn’t the place for the post but just to be informative there seems to be some sort of conflict between your plug-in and a plug-in called “Cenotaph.” The console doesn’t spit out any errors that I could find but Im also a bit of a noob at this sort of thing so please forgive my vagueness.

    Can you add a way that zombies always spawn next to you or just a round based spawn system? Because i want to make a arena in COD Zombie mode Style with buing doors. But these zombies always spawn behind the locked doors...

    Hey man im not really sure what im doing wrong, is this updated for 1.4.5? well my problem is no zombies spawn im not on peaceful i do /tribu enter then /tribu start and it takess forever to load and once it is loaded no zombies spawn....ever i left it going for a half hour.....nothing. im not sure what im doing wrong ive watched a couple videos and they all get it to work, doing the same stuff i do. Im really stumped and my bro is too, please help as soon as you are able, thanks man. -Jinxed

    The version 0.6.1 is not working with 1.4.5 but with 1.2.5; you should use Tribu 0.6.2 but it's currently in closed-beta, more information on bukkit dev ;-)

    I've set up Tribu as a minigame on my Disneyland Paris server (if I'm allowed to say the IP I will at some point), and it works fine for the ops, and it lets Guests (non-ops) play it, but they cannot interact with signs or buyable triggers. How can I fix this problem? (I have given them all tribu.use permissions)
