    Just tried this out and works =). Though I wish there was a way to stay in the air, i.e. hover =/. Also, when toggling off fly mode, it disabled it for me as well, an admin in the admn.txt file.

    As stated above, users in 'admns.txt' are not allowed to fly if global flying is disabled.
    Also, the command "/flyridgefly [save]" does nothing but output the usage despite being used properly.

    This is a big problem as I only want my staff to be able to fly. It doesn't help that users know this plugin and when enabling it temporarily, it shouts "piousminion has just turned flight on". :/

    EDIT: I guess I'll do what the devs have done... abandon this plugin. :/

  6. I tried it, but the flying was way too jerky, laggy, and buggy to really be of any use.

    I've been using this mod for a while and then Minecraft updated to 1.5 so I got the new craftbukkit and now when I fly for a long period of time it kicks me and says flying is not enabled on this server. How do I fix this?

    Nice work! Works sweetly, the only thing you could do is perhaps make jump+sneak zoom instead.

    if it works with a build that is recomended and that works with latest mc patch i think that would go for active? just my opion and wow this plugin looks SICK i thought you cant add items....... i now know i am wrong :( this must have taken a long time. well im gonna dl this soon :)

    We did talk about it, changelog and title is the only thing that HAS TO be updated.

    and nobody wnats you to do rigorous testing, if users report it working, just edit the title.

    Fly, Ridge, Fly! is now VoxelAir !
    and it includes some amazing new mechanics, courtesty of przerwap!

    Many of you will remember the sheer charm of using FRF for the first time, and we hope many of you will have that experience for the all over again with VoxelAir: The "flap" is now a seamless movement, and includes the ability to hover.

    Use extended flight mode to hover or to soar across your map at the speed of sound, all without tripping unwanted server disconnects.

    Classic FRF users who love their *bamf!* (and I am one of you, my friends) can still have that function, or reserve it just for admins.

    Is it normal that instead of falling slowly down when Extended Flight Mode you slowly fly up? I mean i wanted to use this plugin to build up in the air but it's somehow difficult... when you go into Extended Flight Mode you slowly fly up and building like that is hard... not to mention you can move into sides as well D:

    Emiya~ If you want to stay perfectly still in the air, i'm afraid things like Zombe's flymod are you only option. It is not uncommon for players on a local connection drift up, as VoxelAir attempts to hold a player with "normal latency" in place.

    hmm... well i guess I'll just have to bear with it somehow, I love the jumping style of the feather so i might stay with this. Btw. I dunno what you mean about "local connection" but i have paid server not set on my PC.

    I like this mod's extended flight mode best. I only experience a slight up drift which slightly worsens when I try to walk in the air. I do have some constructive criticism and suggestions though.

    When I aim straight down and right-click, the applied thrust is correctly drawn from the config.yml. However if my angle is more than about 25 degrees off from straight down, the applied thrust is the same as when it's set to 8 in the config.yml. I set thrust to 1 and the effect is very clear. I tried to reduce the speed and upward thrust a bit since I found it way too much. I found out that because of this issue it is virtually impossible to control the horizontal movement speed with the config.yml.
    (Reproduce: Set thrust to 1. Aim straight down and hold the right mouse button. Now slowly arc your aim upwards. At a certain angle you'll suddenly blast upwards.)

    What is the use of the "cruise" setting. I couldn't find it's function. I tried setting it to 50 and noticed no difference with the normal settings.

    Suggestion: In extended flight mode, thrust should be applied in the direction you're looking. I love how DefaultCommands' "fly" implementation does that. (left-clicking will propel you exactly in the direction you face, so you can swiftly move down). Now when you end up too high, you have to fall down, re-engage extended flight mode, when you end up too low, you'll have to flap once, and risk ending up too high. Applying thrust in the direction the player is looking gives greater vertical control. In this case you'll probably be building something at a specific height and you'll fly into it when you flap and it will stop you, thus the excessive horizontal thrust generated by this method is not such a big problem.

    Now I'm continuously torn between VoxelAir and DefaultCommands' "fly" since the hover mode of VoxelAir is great for building, but DefaultCommands' "fly" gives much more in-flight control. DefaultCommands really isn't usable for building though, since you can't maintain a steady altitude.
