    I'm using this (I believe version "i"), and recently I've found a massive amount of lag near spawn, where I have a bunch of NPCs (15+).

    Any ETA on fixing the lag? I'm keeping it for now, but the lag is getting unbearable.

    This bug has been fixed in the next release. Please, before posting bugs, read the last page or two to see if it has already been reported.

    As for the next release, it will include traders, healers, and many bugfixes. TheMPC will be releasing a preview video soon.

    Hi Guys

    first my english is extremly bad in wirting so on, I will try tu Explayn my Problem ;-)

    I run an Bukkit Server 740 with iConomy 5.0 an the newest version of Citizens but i can't create NPC's so I was reding the Hole thread an wow ther shoude be the solution with this inofficial update so on I tryed the one to but nothig new i also Tryed an older version von iConomy 4.6, 4.1. 4.0 nothing changes

    So what do i do wrong? I am short befor to destroy oll of my work an mage a new server but *cry*


    [Edit] Ok i REALY CAN not understand it ... just tryed agen to reinstall both plugins iConomy 4.6 und Citizens an it Works cant belive it ... strange fings so on big lol to my failbob things XD

    Whenever someone tries to create an npc on my server it tells them "An internal error occured while attempting to perform this command." I also get an error on the console whenever someone tries to create an npc. It says, "[SEVERE] null org.bukkit.command.CommandException: Unhandled exception executing command 'npc' in plugin Citizens v1.07" why does it do this and how can i fix this? D=

    Ps: I've re-downloaded and re-installed Citizens a few times now and it doesnt fix it. Someone help please. =(

    When? No offense but "soon" to me regarding this plugin and development is overused and annoying. Props to fullwall for at least giving us a time frame of when to expect the next build.

    Yea i saw that, would be awesome. But still would have the problem that the more regular names as Guard and such would be quite hard to get your own skin for.

    Always same answer,.... comes soon, next release!?

    1.07i is not stable so dont call it so. 30 npc+ and the server is unplayable.
    I do not need crap traders,chestshop works fine, i just want npc that talk but without lags.
    The only option that remains for me to delete citizens.
    Sorry but the lags making me crazy! :(

    I didn't even give you a time frame for when the next release is. I gave you a timeframe for when TheMPC would be releasing a preview video. :/

    Are you serious? @fullwall worked his ass off to implement traders and fix bugs. It hasn't even been released yet, and you're calling them crap? Please, I ask you to never post in this thread again. The Citizens team would much rather you not use our plugin at all then make such ignorant comments.

    Works perfectly for me. And i am looking forward to the awesome update that will come.
    So you are angry that the plugin they created freely so you could use it doesn't work with 35+ on your server?
    Thank them that you could use this plugin this far and give them support or even donate instead of crying.

    I wasnt saying that you were giving a time frame for the next release, fullwall did. I was just saying "soon" as a general term that this plugin uses. Technically you didnt give a time frame you just said soon.

    Hey, just wanted to give a shout out and say thanks for the work you've done on this plugin, we are having a lot of fun with it. I look forward to the upcoming builds and I believe someone said it earlier but it would be a neat thing to be able to toggle "sneaking" on an NPC. Also i hear there is a way to assign the "sitting" animation as well! Either way, it's fantastic and we appreciate the work you do.

    I honestly must say I know where Hawtin is coming from. I appreciate the hell out of the developer of this plugin, but i've been playing with citizens since it was first released, and the "soon" tag is just not appropriate when 2 months have passed and nothing was enhanced.

    I also have the same issue with lag, and it has been echoed a LOT, so it is a serious problem that nobody is exempt form unless A) they have a lot of ram to deal wit the extra strain, or B) they don't have very many npc's. I agree, the current version should have been tagged as unstable for this reason. The fact it is not stated as such means people will try this plugin out, see it causes a lot of lag, then either abandon it or complain a lot on this thread and detour the author from getting work done in a timely manner (if he chooses to comment on it over and over again.) All in all, as as admin I don't appreciate being told something is working when it is not as well...

    That being said, I can't wait for the update as no other npc plugins exist out there, and this one did in fact used to work perfectly for what features it had. All the power to you, fullwall, and I appreciate your persistance even if it isn't "soon" :p

    The healers I did not know about until today, so i'm actually quite excited about them :)

    And 1 thing what all u stupid whiners forget is that the developpers here also have a personal life.
    As far as i can see most of u are only complaining about when it is release and all that kind of stuff.
    Be happy that they are willing to develop this plugin for u, sjees....
    Can't see you people do it so STFU >.<

    Please ignore those whiners and take the time to make a bug free release,
    Some of the people on here dont know how much time developping stuff can take.

    Is it possible to get a quick fix for the localized lag issue, since it seems to be common to most people and makes the plugin unusable? I really enjoy it, just can't use it in it's present state.

    Fixed in the next release. I can now confirm that it now will be released "really soon". Muahahhaa

    Trader preview video here. I still need to fix bed bug, and also set it up so you can use major/minor iConomy before the release. When the release happens, please delete the Traders/ file to ensure nothing goes wrong or something :p. Enjoy!

    IDEA: Can't you make it finish the transaction when you drop the item in the other inventory? That would simulate a real trader :)

    If we did that, it'd be open to exploits (clicking outside the window, etc.) . Far easier to do it the way I did.

    it would be perfect if guards would follow soon...
    don't tell me how hard it is for them to maken this because i understand that and i really respect these guys but i just want them so badly :D

    This is one useful plugin, been using them for a while and they work nicely. Although, I recommend you update it to the latest iConomy ASAP, even if it is before the release as it can cause a major conflict =/. Also, may you estimate the release of guards? It will be very helpful for player-based towns to defend against stealers, and such.

    Info on guards
    Guards were initially planned for 1.0.8 (the next version). Guards are a major undertaking, requiring pathfinding, and lots of other things. Unfortunately, the dev working on guards (@NeonMaster) ran into major time issues and has not been able to start as of yet. So, there is no ETA until this situation gets sorted out.
