    Guys I have a problem. When I stock a trader and set buy/sell prices and restart the server, it resets the npc so that its not a trader, and it does not sell or buy any items. I did type /citizens save before restarting the server, but I still face this problem.

    This really cool thing happens when I update Citizens to the newest version: either I get a lot of errors if I don't update the config, and when I do update the config all my npc's vanish. Has anyone else experienced this? I feel like there's always something with this plugin...

    That's what happened on my server, check your console I bet you have the same java error as I.

    @fullwall out of curiosity is /npc path a working feature? it worked in 1.0.9c now in d my npcs sorta just wonder aimlessly. no console errors either.

    I've got two problems. First one: when I spawn a NPC, he's skin is blank. How do I change it? Whats the problem?
    Second: When I add text to a NPC and then right click him I select him and he doesn't say anything. Why?
    I would really love if you can help me. Wasn't able to find answers by myself.

    Is it possible to integrate an option, to give npc´s a nickname/alias, that shown over the head?
    So we have a option, to give our npc a individual name to a "player"-skin. ;)

    Hope you understand what i mean?

    All my other permissions work fine. I didn't see one for free basic npcs, so I assume it's not that.

    type /npc talkclose
    then he will talk to you when you are near him.
    And i do not think it is possible to change NPC skins without a client mod.

    Could it be possible to shut npc nametags off, without the use of colors?
    So i can use skins without the actual name showing up.

    Hmm... aPunch closed my issue post on your github... (https://github.com/fullwall/Citizens/issues/148)
    That wasn't very nice. However assuming that it was done because he assumed I haven't read the 1st post... I will provide you with my configs AND full console log. I have removed all single quotes from my configs except where noted in the first post.

    I am running McMyAdmin 0.9.6.8 (Latest Version)
    I am running CraftBukkit Build 1000

    If you require more information, I will gladly provide it as quickly as possible, I just wish I wasn't overlooked so easily in this endeavor.

    When you have a stack of 40 tnt and a stack of 14 tnt and you put the 14 atop the 40 tnt, the NPC gets the money added that would normally be worth 14 tnt without losing the item itself. This may also work with other materials but we didn't test that.

    Also dropping the stuff out of the inventory sometimes gives a duplication lately i accedently dropped 8 diamond out of the traders inventory, and when i picked it up i had 16 diamonds in my inventory ( 0 at first ) and the 8 were still in the traders inventory !

    This is on CB#1000 and Citizens 1.0.9d using iConomy.

    I hope you can fix this :)

    @coffeehedake - it is definitely a config error of some sort caused by incorrect quote removal (can tell by exception type), which is why aPunch closed the issue. However, there are two possible exceptions of the same type, which may have led to this confusion. Can you pastebin your npc-profiles.yml for me?

    Edit1: LoL keep in mind I didn't make all of these NPCs... some of their dialogue is a little racy. :rolleyes:

    @coffeehedake - yes, there's an incorrect quote removal here. You shouldn't remove quotes in npc-profiles.yml, as Bukkit's configuration system requires that keys that are just numbers should be in quotes. You need to set all the npc id keys with quotes around them. For example, 0: becomes '0':

    Thanks fullwall, I have a backup of my config, just in case. Think this would be worth noting on the first post so others don't make the same mistake?

    I'll revert to my backup config for npc-profiles.yml and post back here with the results.

    What does everybody think if you can give and npc a name to set his skin then give him a nick name to set his name that you want it to be. If this is possible it would be awesome feature! Thanks for the awesome plugin!
