    Well I finally upgraded. Some of my citizens are gone, others are in different locations. One is in 2 different locations and he only has 1 entry/line in the locations file.

    Ah it's ok, I'll fix it again again.

    Hi, I have a few issues.
    I am running CB 803, and have tried both version 1.0.8g and 1.0.7i
    Both give fatal Errors.
    Please Help and point out any errors I am making.

    I apologize if this has already been reported, but it's no longer possible to use two word names : /
    Slashes are on in my config, but it erases the slash and everything that follows it. I am on CB220 and 1.08g.

    Um why is it whenever I try to toggle a npc, it saids my server has not turned on economy....?

    I have latest CB and latest 1.0.8g as well

    Checked the configs and should be fine.

    My Npcs are gone too ?
    in shortl after instlal 1.0.8gm I made like 4 did some restarsts no there gone
    but there still lested on file

    :eek: Odd the files are intact but loction is wrong looks like theymoved them selves strange.

    I selected and moved them and now ther back I dunno how they are moving lik this.
    Its only happened in 1.0.8g

    Found the buggers look at this shit...

    Most of them are mine and guess what the missing ones are under map in void.
    now WTF are they doing their..... :eek::eek::eek::eek:

    I just set this back up after getting rid of it when i was on minecraft 1.5, looks a lot more filled out than before, the only problem i have right now is whenever i try and toggle an NPC, it says that economy is not enabled for citizens, yet i look through all the settings and economy is set to true.

    Any help?
    I even added the permissions in as well

    Yeah I had a bunch move from around 300 on one axis to 7000ish with 1.0.8g. It's also switching some NPCs with each other and names are flubbed (underscores). This plugin has yet to give me a smooth upgrade. I should probably just dump it again for a few more months and maybe next time it will work. Re-fixing 30 NPC's every time is pretty awful work.

    luckly for me I only have 23 but here is the funny thing all of them pre this version spawn fine. Its just any new ones since last and this one UPON server Reset go mental and need my attention i'm jus glad its not me and im willing to use any build at all to fix this.

    Here is another way I did it.
    Open your host file in windows and dirvert minecarft.net to a skins folder in your server then rename the skins u download to match your npcs.
    Then download all of your players skins as well or offer a upload service bam ur done.

    Tho if ppl dont upload their skin they end up with defualt for ever lol.

    If I want to let players ONLY USE npcs, giving them the permission node - citizens.use.* is correct?

    How do I use player names with numbers( i.e. Bob123) it shows up as 'Bob' and downloads the skin for Bob rather than Bob123. Please help!

    the economy config file in the citizens folder... set both 'true/false' values to 'true'

    Hey Guys, i dont know if this has been posted yet... i guess i found a little bug.

    Its just when i put 16 Logs on the buying list of the trader it only buys the 17:0 version of the logs and not the 17:1 or 17:2 version of the Log. This is when using the iConomy plugin.

    Hope you can fix this :)

    Ermm, I have this weird eror. In the log it has some stuff titled CHUNK_UNLOAD, it couldnt pass that event to citizens. As a result, some npc's keep on disappearing until I reload the server. Kinda annoying, any solutions?

    Hi, I know this sounds stupid, but what are the exact Permission nodes for each command? I want the default group to be able to create traders but not with unlimited stock. I've tried citizens.trader." with -citizens.trader.unlimited and just citizens.trader.list,buy,sell,balance,money. If you could help, that would be great, thanks
  23. Some one Posted earlier on how to get different skins for NPCs WITHOUT connecting to minecraft.net on Windows. Does anyone know how to do it on a mac? Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.

    Newbie Noah

    I've looked all over for tutorials for the guards.... theres NOTHING. My problem is that the guard(bouncer) doesnt attack anything i put on its blacklist. This is exactly what i do: I create an NPC with the name of "Guard"(masterchief skin FTW) then i toggle him to a guard. I give him full diamond, and then i set him to bouncer. Right away it walks up to me and begins pushing me. I add myself to its whitelist and relog. That problem is gone. I then add all of the monster mobs onto its blacklist, but when any mob comes it doesnt do anything, it just stands there. HELP?

    Why does it say "this server is not using an economy plugin" although I have iConomy (5. version)? It worked before on my server and now it seems to be broken. How can I make it work? I know it recognizes iConomy (from the console) but it doesn't appear to be making any difference in game. What could I do about it?

    EDIT: it seems it changed config file "economy", it works now fine :)

    Today i have installed the Plugin "Permissions" and now my currency is "37" (yellow flowers).
    How can i change it to the normal Money?

    I know it's been added on past posts, but when creating an npc with numbers(or special characters) at the end it will just cut them off. I do like that they can say more of their lines now, thank you. Lots of pop ups of "Economy is not turned on the server". I get past a few things of that but I got stumped when trying to give a trader items and it told me I don't have Economy turned on. Which I do have iConomy and I know it's set to true because I just made him spending my 10 yellow flowers. Also npcs every time I load up the server decide to hide underground..Don't teleport to them..you'll be sorry..

    I know the guards aren't fully done but I figure I say an interesting bug I found or unfinished thing. When you toggle them to a guard they will follow you forever whether you toggle them to a bouncer or not. It is rather creepy to have the guard stare at you as you try to build something :eek:
