{factions_relcolor} Problem (With EssentialsChat)

    I am terribly sorry if my problem is something that is easily solvable and I am just being dumb but... I am really stuck on this one.

    Recently, Factions updated and I have tried to get the chat functions to co-operate with Essentials.
    However, when I go in-game, the chat looks like this:

    As far as i remember the factions documentation states that said tag does not work with supported chat plugins. i suggest checking the factions documentation or making a ticket on factions's dev.bukkit.org page.

    I checked the factions documentation. It states that, quote, "The tag {factions_relcolor} does not work with HeroChat". While it does not explicitly state that said tag works with EssentialsChat, it gives no indication that it doesn't work and it seems that, at some point, it worked for some people.

    If there appears to be no solution or work-around, I shall create a ticket.

    ye i just disabled essentials chat and a bit of tweaks in factions config and everything was good

    Is Factions able to detect the {WORLDNAME} and {PREFIX} tags on its own?

    i do not know about world prefix do

    I just use PermissionsPex for normal prefix's or suffix's

    After the newest version of factions has been released, the faction tag has changed to

    {faction_tag}

    try that for your essentialschat, and tell me how it turns out.

    Thanks for the post, but "{faction_tag}" does not appear to work in essentialschat just as much as "{factions_relcolor}" does not work.

    I do use PermissionsPex for the prefix's already, so that is not an issue. It doesn't seem like factions on its own is able to do what I need it to.
