Essentials Chat Group Formatting Help {With GroupManager}

  1. Hi Guys i need help with formatting groups with essentials chat i really only ant to use it to change chat color but it just refuses to work here is my chat format:

    format: '{DISPLAYNAME} - {MESSAGE}'
    #format: '&7[{GROUP}]&r {DISPLAYNAME}&7:&r {MESSAGE}'

    Default: '{DISPLAYNAME}&r &7 - &b{MESSAGE}&b'
    Builder: '{DISPLAYNAME}&r - &e&l{MESSAGE}'
    Moderator: '{DISPLAYNAME}&r - &e&l{MESSAGE}'
    Admin: '{DISPLAYNAME}&r - &e&l{MESSAGE}'
    Head_Admin: '{DISPLAYNAME}&r - &e&l{MESSAGE}'
    Owner: '{DISPLAYNAME}&r - &e&l{MESSAGE}'
    Slayer: '{DISPLAYNAME}&r &e - &e&l{MESSAGE}'
    Assassin: '{DISPLAYNAME}&r - &e&l{MESSAGE}'
    Terrorist: '{DISPLAYNAME}&r - &e&l{MESSAGE}'
    Ultimate_Slayer: '{DISPLAYNAME}&r - &e&l{MESSAGE}'

    any help is appreciated guys :)

    Make you you have essentialschat.jar or this will not work.

    Also you can only either have formats:



    Also, I have had issues with this before upgrading to java 7. Not sure if they were related.
  3. Didnt work i disabled the formats and all it done was add [Owner] inforont of the original Prefix

    Ok i solved it there must be a bug with essentialschat it didnt work atall so i switched to ChatEx and it is working perfect now :D
