Ok so when my friends try to join my pc server this error comes up: ava.net.ConnectException: Connection timed out: no furthur information: and also i have tryed not putting the ip but that doesent work the ip works for me
Have you portforwarded? If so, for example, my xfinity netgear IPv4 is: 10.0.0.8 and it works for me, but not people outside of the LAN. What u need to do is go to: http://www.whatismyip.com/ And the number on the very top, give your friends that. When portforwarding, do NOT enter that in the portforward. stick with the IPv4. Idk why it does this but it does. Hope I helped!
