Plugin Help Error in command syntax. Check command help.

I am new to PermissionsEX and when I type pex user add oceanasAlpaca * in my console it says Error in command Syntax. I dont know what to do now. Please help me because my server is really new and I don't know what to do. If this helps it is a server.pro. Please help me.
