Question Equivilent for essentials chat ! ( 1.8 )

Hello i am renting my own server and i am looking for something that is equivilent to essentials chat. I would use it but there isnt a 1.8 D: YES I KNOW THERE IS SPIGOT ESSENTIALS BUT I NEED BUKKIT XD .

If you could tell me that would be greatly appreciated.

Moved to Bukkit Alternates.
@timtower Lower versions don't seem to work on 1.8, @legoboy-gaming There is no official version for 1.8 only the Spigot fork.

The 1.8 "spigot" version should work for either 1.8.x server...
The reason it may not for you is because that version of essentials requires Java 7 to run the server, without which it will error.
