    Multiverse 2 - World Creation/Management/Teleportation & More​
    Current Version: 2.2-AB

    Multiverse 2 is a ground up rewrite of the popular Multiverse plugin for CraftBukkit. There are many new features, the biggest one being the much better usability and cleaner code! MV2 has been in the works for over 2 months and given the size of it, the developers are confident that you'll find a small bug or two. Please come into our IRC channel and discuss politely with us and we'll get it resolved quick-fastly!

    People can't log into my 1060 Bukkit Server!:
    Are you using spout? If so, you need to upgrade it to a dev version or disable it until those guys release a 1060 compatible version.

    How do I know if I'm running CB XXXX or higher?:
    Type /version. The number here is your CB version:

    If PVP is disabled in server.propities - even if it's enabled in the MV world, PVP doesn't work.

    Can you somehow make the possibility that if you transfer to a certain world the players will lose their inventory and get the inventory what they had the last time they went into that world?
    Because I have a spawn world and a survival world but people can now just spawn things in the spawn world and take it with them to the survival world.

    So, I'm new to multiverse and Permissions plugin. Since this plugin forced me to get the permissions plugin, i got it but i can't figure out how to use it. There's no real guide to using permissions plugin anywhere that i can find. I keep getting the message " You do not have the rights to acces this command" whenever i try to use it on my server. What do i do? I tried google btw. Didn't help.

    What are the steps you perform to achieve this, from the cold boot?
    ie. 1. Start server, 2. I log in, 3. I type /mvtp, etc...

    I have an idea on this, but in order to test I need to be able to replicate the error myself.

    Confirmed, I'm looking into this over the weekend.

    There is a youtube video on the original post for Permissions, you should watch it in order to secure your server properly, but if you just want the details for yourself, just open world.yml inside the plugins/Permissions folder and replace one of the names at the bottom with yours and make sure your group is Admins.

    Hi, Not sure if this has already been asked, my apologies if it has, When im on a snow map and it rains it comes as rain rather than snow? If that makes sense? Any help would be great. Thanks
  8. This was brought up I think yesterday, and yes it does happen, but I can assure you that MultiVerse does NOT remove snow from worlds. If it is a bug, it's a minecraft bug.

    EDIT: A little more on this:
    Just because you see some rain coming down on some snow does not at all mean that there is no snow, it means you're seeing rain in a snow biome, which has been documented as a bug, although there is speculation if this is expected behavior. Try walking to another snow biome and checking it out. I've noticed my weather to be very, uh the same in a specific location, meaning that if there is no snow there at one time, there never will be, and if there is snow, there always will be (when the rain/snow starts to fall). Not sure if that made as much sense as it could have...

  11. Alright, this is NOT a bug.
    What you have to do is enable PVP in server.properties, and disable it in the worlds.yml file that you don't want pvp in

    Yep, use MultiInv.

    Any console errors? Version numbers of Bukkit and MultiVerse?

    From what I've found and created an entry on the bug tracker for the snow/rain determination is based off of the biomes in your main world (i.e. the one in server.properties). If you find snow in the main world (in one of its winter biomes), you should be able to find it at the same coordinates in any other world.

    Thats exactly what I was going to post yesterday but decided to search around a bit more. But this theory makes the most sense out of all others because each world spawns you in different coordinates, so your weather will vary.

    I'm sorry, but it seems there's nothing inside those Yml's. They are named Permissions(My world name) And are in YML format. It doesn't matter which program i open them in... Notepad or whatever, there's nothing there. I searched some more and apparently there should be something like :

    username: (My username)
    group: Admins

    Inside them, but there arn't. I tried pasting it in there, but it still doesn't work.
    Any clues?

    I have an odd issue after updating to build 740.

    At 733 and before I was able to have my server.properties set to have monsters off to have my base world have regen and had Multiverse set to have monsters on in a secondary world, now after I updated to 740 all my worlds have regen and monsters are no longing spawning.

    So I had to set monsters on in the serv.props and turn them off per world now, problem is that now no world has regen.

    There a way to fix that, Id like regen in my creative world =P

    This is the first plugin ive tried to install (other than permissions) and i am having a lot of trouble. First, the thread says that the file is a ZIP when the download gives me a JAR. Second, when i unzip the jar i do not get any YML files other than plugin.yml. The commands dont work in game and my command prompt just says "trying to use command mvcreate survival normal"

    Ok, when i have the
    set and someone tries to walk through the portal, they get "insufficient funds" if they have $0. Can you fix this?

    Also, it shows "you have been charged with $0.0" can you remove this when iconomy:false?

    Everything works just fine for me now. I had to complete delete everything multiverse related in my server folder for the new jar to work. but it's fine now.

    don't unzip the jar. Just put the JAR in your plugins folder, then run your server. This will create all the necessary configuration files.

    If you have any further questions about the permissions plugin, please refer to it's own thread or irc for issues related to permissions.

    There must be a plugin conflicting, because I have tested this specifically. Try restarting your server.

    Mind posting your Multiverse.yml to pastebin? Just a question, do you have iconomy installed?

    Heres another error when attempting to import an existing config file. Issues with WG


    Happened again to a completely new world. Since it seems to be an issue with creature spawn im amusing disabling mob spawn in the nether world would fix it...

    Anyway to limit groups to certain worlds? For example..
    You start in a small world, with a few portals, you need to be in a certain group to access certain portals which go to different worlds..

    hi on death when multi world moves a player to the spawn point it boots them for moving too fast

    error in log;
    this is a nightmere as when the player logs back in they are quiet often majorly far back! thier inventory rolled back etc

    there is a fix listed here http://forums.bukkit.org/threads/moved-too-quickly.14669/
    since i have two plugins that deal with spawn teleportation it could be yours or commandbook, though yours is in the error log
