Plugin category: Maybe fun, miscellaneous, or general.

    Suggested name: DyeArmor

What I want: I want to be able to dye leather armor with commands so making lots of colored armor for events and such is a lot simpler.

Ideas for commands: /dye [color] [amount of color], /dye clear.

    Ideas for permissions: dyearmor.dye, dyearmor.clear.

    Thanks

    bossomeness

you could spawn a stack of leather helmet, chestplate, leggings, and boots with a command and get a stack of the dye you want, put it in the crafting table, and shift-click.

Yeah, this is actually impossible as there is no item id for dyed armor, sorry!

    I can do this.
What would [amount of color] be?

I would do something like /dye [player] [color]

Then drop a full set of color armor on the player sort of like the /give command.

The plugin is almost done but I'm not sure what to do with /clear remove color or armor or what?

They added an api for it.

No way! Could you tell me what it is or link me? I've spent countless hours looking for a plugin I've been coding. This would be awesome!

I found a plugin that solves this issue, it's called NBTTagger, with it you can add NBT tags like colors.

So can NBTTagger, it uses RGB which you have to set yourself.
