One thing I was never to sure on with minecraft servers... Does your processor really matter much? I'm getting a dedicated server with 32GB of ram, and an Intel Xeon E3 1245v2 processor. Will my server be able to handle 400+ players or even run about 4-8 minecraft servers? Just making sure because I'm going to run a hub server soon.
You're good on RAM. The processor will not get you there. I am doing player stress testing on that processor tomorrow, I will let you know how many I can get.
I know the processor alone wont hold as many players as I want. I just want to know if I'm fine running about 6 servers with a total of 400 players on at very max.
Yes, that processor will hold those servers and players fine. The processor is commonly used in hosts at that same RAM amount, so you should be just fine.
