@Natedizal You are selling an advantage (e.g. Factions Power Boost, /fly command, the credits if you have an "admin shop", etc...).
So you are violating the EULA.

Everything that you have setup violates the EULA since all of that gives you an adventage.
The only EULA-friendly things you have are /me and /nick

No. You can only sell /fly for Hubs and Lobbies for example. Where it doesn't help you to get to places better or gives you an advantage in general.

The fact that others do that as well is no excuse for violating a legal document you have agreed to. By agreeing to the EULA you are automatically bound to follow it.

Or would you jump from the top of a building just because others did...

 

@mrCookieSlime is right, its about the fact if your gonna follow the rules or if your gonna be untrustworthy. I would rather follow the rules and not risk any punishments then to secretly dis-follow them and take the risk of losing all my privileges. @termanator1128

 

@mrCookieSlime When you create a server, then it requires to accept the EULA, or the server won't start. Like that: 'Accept the EULA'?

What would Mojang do, if you accept the EULA and sell some privileges/items/other things? How would they check that?

@Natedizal It's not allowed, again. Because you give money (So they can buy stuff in the shop (If there is, otherwise it's allowed to give money.))

I believe a enderchest may also not.. (Because you can get items easily, also in combat).
And i believe spawners may also not.

And Factions power also not.

Simply Conclusion: You are not allowed to sell anything else then /me, /hat or /fly (in hub).
The EULA has broken all server donate systems... Because servers are not allowed to sell anything that improves the combat, or something like that.

Particles are likely always allowed.

 

@Natedizal Particles, pets, nametags/nicks, hat are some plugins you could try to include that would make your donator perks sound better/attractive.

@Skionz Cosmetic Stuff is always allowed.

Disallowed Stuff:
Stuff that increases you in combat or something like that situation.

Allowed:
Stuff like cosmetics or particles or another things, in hub is fly also allowed.

Conclusion:
It is only allowed to sell stuff that not changes the gameplay in every way.

 

@Experminator Where is that in the EULA? It says we can't sell anything they make and anything includes cosmetics. The way I am seeing it is the the EULA is a contract you have to accept before using the game. We have to follow the conditions of the contract, but not what some random Mojang guy says unless we accept another contract (which we have not). Just because he says he won't take action on your server for selling cosmetics doesn't mean he can't. This may be wrong, but if I am right there is really no reason to only sell cosmetics as you are breaking the EULA anyway. While this may make me a hypocrite as I have expressed in the past that I think it is wrong to profit off of other peoples software, I think you may as well make a pay to win server.

Feel free to correct me as I am not 100% sure on this topic.

 

Pretty much anything that could possibly give you a slight advantage in ANY possible way is NOT allowed. Things like /nick and /hat are allowed (along with more stuff of course) because they do not affect your gameplay and do not give you an advantage over anyone, they are simply cosmetic.
