Do Maps Work In SMP?

My players are telling me that maps don't work, but is this a Vanilla bug or are they doing it wrong?

 

Everything should work fine, maybe they're spawning in another place, defined not by the plugin, but level.dat.
Did you copy your map with all subfolders and files?

 

I did move the map a few times, but nothing was missed. I'm at my wits end as to what is wrong with the maps on my server, they just don't work for some reason :/

 

Are your maps from older version of MC?
Did you convert some of them?
And why exactly users are telling you that maps doesn't work? Is the server starting nicely or having a lot of bugs?

 

You misunderstand, the in game item map doesn't work.

Same issue. Maps are blank when users open them and walk around with them.

 

Are you on latest version of Bukkit?

 

I'm on the latest dev build. 1.4.5 #2496

 

I'm on the latest beta build 2488. This issue happens to OP players and non OP players, so I'm guessing it's not a plugin issue.
