Disconnecting when taking out map

    This happened to me once when me and my friend made a huge hole into the void, so we filled up that hole, this time my friend made this huge cylinder tower made of glass and when I take out my map anywhere near it, I disconnect, how do I solve this other than destroying it? HELP PLEASE.

    May have corrupted the chunk try running chunkster?
