Solved Dictionary Pronunciation

You guys all know that dictionary words, show how to pronounce them.
My question of the day is, "How might I go about getting the pronunciation of a word, using a bukkit plugin?" Any dictionary apis with that?

Yes, I have done that.
And yes, someone has sent me that link before.
And yes, I unshorten all my urls before clicking.

I know that JWKTL (Wiktionary) can retrieve all words and definitions .. I don't think it can do pronunciations though.


Maybe you could manually do it for all 300,000+ words in the English language

So maybe doing just a little bit of searching on your own would've been a good idea.

 

BlueMustache You could find a website that has them and read off that website using HtmlUnit

Or you can just get a huge text file and use that

Or just...Use what AoH_Ruthless mythbusterma suggested and find a specific API for this (Which is what I would recommend)

 

The link we posted is actually an API specifically for wiktionary, which would probably be the best solution for anyone else trying to fo spmrhting like this.
