    Unfortunately it didn't fix the issue :(

    As for a screenshot of the video settings, I've tried every combination of settings ever so I don't think it's related to any of those :(

    And just out of curiosity I tried on my laptop too and the same thing is happening(clean install, default settings). It also seems to only happen in certain parts of the world, the same parts on both computers. I'm wondering if maybe it's double rendering certain chunks right on top of each other for some reason and causing weird z-buffer issues(I also am not a programmer at all so that's a very uninformed theory)

    Anyway, thanks for all the work you guys are putting in. Spout is going to be the biggest plugin before too long :)

    Thanks for fixing the mip-mapping, but now there's this:



    All that text says "Use the HD patcher, n00b!" D=

    There are various other anomalies too, such as the fire animation appearing where it shouldn't etc.

    Is there any way to find out whether or not the user installed Spout? I know that the server will give a message if a user does, but I'd like to know if there's an in-game method.

    Also, in case you're not aware, but the wiki is down.

    Okay, here's something Spout related.

    With using the spout-enabled client and joining a server, there would be an interval whereby the client downloads the necessary files. At times, there are no files to download, or the server does not have spout installed, but the "joining world" screen persists.

    Also, during this interval, mobs, other players and entities can deal damage to the player.

    I think this issue needs to be resolved. Thanks!

    I have 3 DokuCraft texturepacks, Dark, High and Light, all version 2.3, and they used to show that message "Use the HD patcher, n00b!" if you didn't install HD Patcher.
    I've downloaded this one you are using, from the link you provided but could not see the message. In my case it appeared in water, I think, and maybe in other brushes.
    Well, I'm using the latest dev builds, Spout #192 and Spoutcraft #232.
    DokuCraft is now version 2.5:

    I've tried DokuCraft 2.5 High and it's working.

    I might just be failing at finding it in the thread, but does Spoutcraft use regular optifine, smooth optifine, or hyperthreading/multicore flavor? Or will it be possible to select which?

    Regular ATM, but we will be moving to Multithreaded Optifine in a few weeks.

    I can't reproduce this. I saw the player take one hurt animation, but there was no damage dealt. Make sure you are using the latest dev build.

    Latest dev builds, when joining a non-spout server should no longer see that screen.

    With spout, and when plugins begin using precaching, part of an upcoming release, you could see hundreds of files downloading. >.>

    @Afforess Perhaps a way to turn off or skip the "No active downloads, joining in X seconds" part of joining, like maybe a "Join Now" button?

    Hi I am a dev on a server and a few of the users are constantly complaining that when they log in to the server they get a snow texture immediately and there game crashes. This has not happened before we got spoutcraft.

    Step 1:

    Have those users use "development" builds. This is an option in the launcher, before your login. If this fixes it, great. If not, go to step 2.

    Step 2: There are instructions on the OP on how to run this in the "console". Follow these and errors should appear after you join a game. Copy them to and submit them here, so we can fix them.

    Okay quick question. I can't really find an install guide anywhere. Is it as simple as dropping the jar into the plugins folder (when installing onto server)? Because I have done that and, it says the plugin loaded. I can connect with a vanilla minecraft.jar, but when I try to connect with spoutcraft.jar I get a "Connection time out: connect" error after a number of seconds.

    Er... What do you mean? If you mean some children items not appearing that's only the RB, and was fixed in DEV a week (or more) ago when my pull was accepted...
