    Ah perfect ;) Thanks for the explanation.

    I now have another question: How could I scale widgets? I have a generic label and as my screen is large enough I scaled down the GUI to a more eye friendly version. But it looks, that the generic label has (by default) the old size.

    After much experimenting, I come to the conclusion that Spout's custom skins and capes do not work.

    I tried experimenting with PlayerEditor and SpoutEssentials, and none of them seem to have working skins.

    Why cann't spout client the once a textures pack is downloaded store the textures pack? I ask because the pack I want to use is big 10mb+ and not all of my members have fast connections to play and download simultaneously.

    Thank you for hard work :) MineCraft will be a new world full of new thing because of this project.

    What are your specs?

    Those are not possible at this time.

    Looks like lwjgl doesn't like your graphics drivers, the launcher should download the latest on an mc update which may fix it. Try deleting .spoutcraft

    It IS a dev build, which means it's mid development and supposed to break, we already know.

    Could you phrase that better?

    Is it somehow possible, to build against a specific version with Maven? My project has Spout as a dependency, but I can load only the newest, and as there where API breaks (which effects the plugin) I couldn't tell Maven/Eclipse, to use a recommended build as a dependency.

    Absolutely. This is how it works by default - server owners may force Spoutcraft only clients, but that is up to them, not a limitation of the mod itself.

    Report the issue to them, not us. I can't be help responsible for their code. If there is a legitimate issue, their developers can contact us and we will attempt to get a fix out asap.

    Next release will have a lot more in the way of scaling widgets - you can look at the development snapshots of the api if you want to get a head start - look at getScale(), setScale() in widgets.

    At the moment, they must be a url. We have added the ability to send actual files in development builds via the cache though.

    Grab the latest development build of Spout, it should fix this.

    Advanced file caching features, exactly like this are coming next release. They are already done in fact. :p

    The flickering only occurs when I use the spoutcraft client. The vanilla client and even the bukkitcontrib client work fine without issue and no other games I play exhibit this behavior.

    On the OP there are instructions on how to run your client in "console mode" so you can see the logs. Can you do that, and upload the logs after playing for 2 minutes.

    It supports all sizes.

    its a realy simple plugin, so why not :D
    and its my first spout plugin
    and i want to make a solar eclipse if i get the textures for it, the code is already in

    i thought it is like a normal mod that you only have to say where in the server-folder the files are located

    That fixed it, but I've also noticed the lack of shift click to create all in a crafting window.

    Sadly, not yet. They have to figure out a light-traffic way of sending a datastream in order for that to work, of which is not in the current builds.

    No client mods are atm, although it could be replicated with our current api i believe.

    Damn - nothing there. I just pushed some changes to the rendering, can you check "use dev builds" on the launcher and load it up to see if it fixes things. If not, can you take a screenshot of your video settings page?

  27. Whenever I switch to a HD texture pack on the latest dev build I just get a white screen.

    This doesn't happen on the stable release. Just the latest dev build. Last dev build was fine.

    Console should report whether a player is using Spoutcraft when they log in, and there is API for checking too.

    Yeah, I am still fiddling with it. Keep checking github for more commits as the night wears on...
