Deathban

   Suggested name: ZincDeathban
   
   What I want: I would like a plugin that can deathban people. Meaning when a player dies they are banned from the server for a certain amount of time. And i prefer not to have a plugin that just does an event when a player dies it does /tempban (player) 2hours. I prefer to have it with permissions. For example deathban.time.7200 that would be 2 hours in seconds I would also like to make the deathban screen custom for example like the spoiler labeled ban screen below also I would like a lives method it's explained more in the commands but when a deathbanned player joins the server and they have lives it takes one away and tells them how many lives they have left, if they don't have any left then they can't join the server at all and it just tells them how long they're still deathbanned for.
   Ideas for commands:
   */lives revive (player) <revives the player using one of YOUR lives>
   */lives check (player) <check how many lives a player has>
   */lives staff revive (player) <revive a player without using a life>
   */lives send (player) (lives) <send a player some of your lives>
   */lives set (player) (lives) <set the amount of lives for a player>
   */lives add (player) (lives) <adds lives to a player)
   
   Ideas for permissions:
   Deathban.commands gives access to send,revive,and check
   Deathban.admin = gives access to staff revive a player
   Deathban.superadmin = give access to set lives
   Deathban.time.<timeInSeconds> = the time they're banned for in seconds
   
   When I'd like it by: Anytime
   
   Also I would like console to Be able to add lives only
   
   
   Ban screen (open) Ban screen (close)

   You are still deathbanned for (time) and you have (lives) lives remaining

Sounds like a great idea

 

So let me get this straight:

1. a revive ubans the player but does NOT add a life to his count
2. sending a life does NOT uban the player but will add a life to his count

Also I think it's not really doable with permissions since there is no way of tracking the time that has past.

 

1. A staff revive will revive the player (basically adding a life)
2. The unban only happens when the player tries to join the server (but gets unbanned if he has a life)

It is theirs of version of this on spigot but costs money.

 

sounds like an awesome idea.
i will work on it at my free time.
when i will finish i will publish it.
