"Could not create Java Virtual Machine" RAM issue

    Hello, I'm trying to host a server but I need to use more than 1gb of RAM. I have 8gbs in my computer, but for some reason it will give me a message saying,
    "Invalid initial heap size: -Xms2048M
    The specified size exceeds the maximum representable size.
    Could not create the Java virtual machine.
    Press any key to continue . . ."

    if you use windows 32 bit you wont be able to give it more than 1 gb

    Assuming you are using a 64bit OS, you need to use 64bit Java - Remove 32bit java and install 64 bit java :)
