Converting Low Orbit Ion Cannon to Bukkit

I want to convert the Low Orbit Ion Cannon that was made for hMod to Bukkit
I know I need to change some of the methods it uses
If you would like to tell what methods I need to change it would be nice

Yes, this is on my bukkit list as a plugin i wanted to see ported over. Its actually very simple, it just creates a pillar of diamond with a hollow center full of tnt and places a fire block on the top to set it all off.

It would probably be a good starting port to learning to code for bukkit

I highly suggest you look at the Wiki/Documentation: http://wiki.bukkit.org/

Its not just about changing methods; Hey0 used a giant class named etc that had everything and the kitchen sink on it.. bukkit is a better thought out.

I have a Java for Dummies book on my bookshelf I should take a look at

 

Do that first; I know a bunch of non-Java languages (Including its close cousin, C#) but I was still thrown by how java does things in a sort of broken manner sometimes like this: http://docstore.mik.ua/orelly/java/langref/ch04_09.htm

The original author of this plugin has contacted me and let me know he started porting all of his plugins to bukkit yesterday.

Bukkit actually runs for me now, I starting porting them a while back but couldn't get into my server to test anything...
