Hello! I've had a server since 1.4 without any problems. But now after 1.8 I've got connection errors. I can log in as localhost without any problems. But as soon i enter the IP number and will try to login it says only Connection timed out. nothing comes up in the console. tryed to remove all plugins but the problem is still there. This is a very serious problem that I have to solve quickly! Plz help me!
go to canyouseeme.org and enter your server's port to see if a connection can be made to your server!
My friend's server is having the same problem. Sometimes I can log in perfectly and sometimes I get the Read Time Out on my client. It's not the connection or the number of players though, because he has excellent cable internet and only a maximum of 7 people on at once.
