    Hey guys,
I am here today, to request a pretty complex plugin. I have seen quite a few rpg plugins out there, like LegendQuest, Races and Classes, Heroes and sadly none of them really work. At this point in time I made ranks on my server using pex, but that to has strong limitations. I am in need of a plugin that can provide players on my server with a class and race, I am wondering if it would be possible to add permissions to each class/race, I also require quite a few effects/skills that can be given to different classes, by that I mean, different potion effects, different perks, different abilities, different specialisations. As I said before, none of the plugins that I tried before work, and I came here to seek some support. I understand that this is very complicated, but I would be very grateful if someone could do it.

    Thanks,

Yes, i have tried it but your missing my point,
1, its not a classes/races plugin, its a skills plugin
2, you have to know java to create skills, not something that im pro at

I will ATTEMPT the plugin, but I may just find it too difficult and stop development. I will keep you updated

  5. 1. SkillAPI is just the name. You can also make classes.

    2. No, you do not need to know Java to create skills. You simply use a Dynamic Editor, where you just click buttons and add stuff in a GUI, which is quite frankly the easiest customization can get. You need to know Java to create custom mechanics, conditions, etc., although that shouldn't be needed.

What exactly isn't working about them? Have you read about their dependencies? Are you running a version incompatible with your bukkit/spigot version?

I would recommend actually bothering to spend time on plugins you think don't work before getting someone else to make one from scratch. As 0ct0ber mentioned, SkillAPI should more than satisfy your request if you are willing to put a bit of time in
