Hello Hello Hello It's me Orcem and I'm here today to ask you, the community, if you will help me test a Aether plugin I made today. I ran it on my server for about 10 mins and seems to be working great.

I'll take the first lucky 10 to reply to this thread (with the right requirements) to test my plugin.
What I need from you when you reply:

• Server Stats. (Memory [RAM], Map Size, Number of plugins)
• Players on per day on average.
• Why you want to test it (Humor Me)
  

I am looking for particular people for testing this plugin but not to fear it will be available to the community soon. So if I don't say approved, sorry, maybe next time.

This is a plugin not a mod.
For now here is the Aether plugin, Nothing special just a generated world...for now...

 

What are the requirements?

• 9GB of RAM, i guess unlimited map size? (+-1000, +-1000 is where most action takes place)
• maybe 10-20 players or so per day? I have a quiet server lol...
• I want to see what you have done. But 10 minutes? You may want to test before making us keep up with the constant revisions you'll be pumping out because of obvious bugs.

this is a simple .jar plugin for bukkit?

I run a server 6gig ram and around 5 players per day. we would be interested in trying out aethermod in multiplayer.

running a 3 GB server with about 2-3 players a day, map size is roughly 2000 x 2000 blocks with 9 plugins. as for a reason? for the pursuit of enjoyment

 

I can test it on a test server, but at this point I would not be willing to do it on a live server. Also its important to see the sorce. Not that I don't trust you, but... I dont trust you

 

so this like a port for the Aether mod that's just been released for singe player? my server is small 750 mb of ram and 3-5 people on at a time (We are just starting a new server after our last one failed)

 

Yes lol it's a simple .jar file, as for my source please pm me and I'll send it right over. I understand that you can't trust me but please I assure you I would never do anything that would ever harm anyone's computer. If I seem like I'm trying please contact a Admin and have them Ban me. I just want people to simply test my plugin, that's all.

Ok, Fair enough I will run it more on a little server I created.

 

I would be willing to try it out. We run a server with 8gigs, no limit on map size and about 5 plugins. There are about 7 of us that play on a daily basis. We want to test it out because we love the idea of having more to use when creating new things in the world of MineCraft.... I don't need to see the source as I have a few servers I could test it on.

 

i want to try it because my server admin sent me the yogscast vid of it an now i want it insanely but i don't play single player anymore

 

I would love to try it out, I have a tiny little 1gig server with 2-3 people on it daily.

As to why I want to test it. I installed the mod onto my copy of minecraft last night and had a blast in the world. I know my players would love to mess with it too.

Everyone on there has been talking about the new mod so I want to suprise them.

Alright, by request I'm going to idle in the plugins generated world for a good 2 hours to make sure I got most of the bugs gone. I'll brb, Thanks for you help! We are nearing the release of the test version to the candidates I choose. Thanks again

To be honest I kinda have the same issue, unless your sig is not working.

 

So, does this actually work? Generate Aether map correctly, spawn correct mobs, dungeons pre-built? How 'bout some pictures to pique my interest. Are the flying mounts (Moas, Pigs) ridable? Do all (or most, I'm not too picky) of the blocks load and affect the environment as they do in SP? If so, this sounds like a dream come true.

Could you either release a test version or send me the plugin, I would love to play with it on my own (I don't really have an 'official' server, I just host a small one for some friends).

LOL I forgot to say players actually we have around 10-16 on at a time with different game modes and we just switched hosts so i have to change my signature

 

You might want to clarify whether or not this is a 'plugin', or a client mod that is compatible with Bukkit. I feel like a lot of the people here think you actually have a working Aether mod that is compatible with Bukkit, and I really don't think that's the case...(if it is, more power to you!)

EDIT: Yes, you do state it's a plugin in the OP, but I feel like people are having a misunderstanding.

Ok, I added to my server. You just forgot to mention how we can access it. I have also tryed doing /world 2 Which should take me there the other way but it says "Error: Hold in floor"

Aww... too late. I really like the Aether, been hoping for multiplayer with it.

My server has:
2 GB Ram
3-5 players per day
12 plugins
4 Worlds

 

Its not the legit aether.. just a world generator based on the aether

Please Report Bugs only if you actually on the team. Sorry, thread closed, plugin will be available soon to the public. I cannot trust your "bug" calls.

on the console it says "INFO read timed out" and this happens every time i log in now

 

Interesting, I don't think this is caused by my plugin however. How many plugins do you run?
