Plugin Request Clash Of Clans Plugin

Features:

/coc home - Takes you to your base

/coc raid - Takes you to a base your level

/coc upgrade (what you want to upgrade) - Upgrades to next level

/coc clan create (Name) - creates a clan

/coc clan join (Name) - joins a specific clan

/coc visit (Playername) - visits a player

Adds a scoreboard on the side shows how much trophies gold, elixir, dark elixir, and gems

Admin Commands:

/coc create (what you want to create) - creates what you want to create

/coc reload - reloads the config file

Config File:

Contains a default schematic of the base and the config file that has all the town halls and custom prefix and custom chat message



And you can go more specific into this plugin like add more commands and stuff but I would really use this for my server

 

SkyJake timtower I kinda get the idea from many many hours of clash of clans but not everyone has played as much as me and obviously you Jake so please add description on how to play the game and how it works.

 

I know the game very good and played it all the time (well ike 3 months ago I stopped). But the thing is this game keeps updating. But still can be made.

/clan create creates everything or just a small town and you upgrade it?

It creates a clan that you are in and you can invite other people with the command /coc clan invite

I play like training troops and attacking and then upgrade my stuff

This is a very interesting idea. I myself am not a plugin developer, and it looks rather complicated to set up and run, but I would install this if it was created.
One thing- with the training troops part, would the troops be similar to NPCs in the citizens plugin, or would they be more like mobs? And in both cases, I presume they would need a custom skin?

 

timtower only if the skin has been loaded in the first place, I think (eg a player's skin, or one that has been loaded to work like that) Personally i have no idea how you would do this. You'd have to do the graphics design and then do something complicated.

 

I've been considering making this plugin, but its not as simple as 1 2 3 and its done, its a plugin that if done alone could take a long time, but if i had a team of experienced developers that were willing to work with me i think it could be done very well, i've ran over it in my head a few times of how things need to be done to make coc work with minecraft.

 

timtower As you said, you can use player skins, but you can also use some default set up ones, for example Guard, Grim & Trinity. I'm not sure, but it might be possible to have custom skins added to that list privately for your server.

Like do /coc barracks and it will open a menu and show your troops you can train and do /coc labotory and it will open up the labotory in a menu and show the troops you can upgrade

Yes you can put a default schematic of the base in a folder in the config

Yes like NPCS or mobs witch ever one is easier

Isn't their something in the citizens folder where it shows all the NPCS could you like replace the png in there with the skin you created and saved on your ipad

You can't link an NPCs skin to an external png source. You would have to find paid Minecraft accounts with all the skins you are looking for. For example, if 'crazyplayer123' had a barbarian skin and never changes their skin you could link the skin of the NPC with that account name and it would display your NPC 'Barbarian' with the skin of linked player 'crazyplayer123'



Good luck finding all paid Minecraft accounts with clash of clans skins...

EDIT: You do know we're not all on iPads right? And please tell me you know this is for the PC version of Minecraft... Because all I've learnt from this so far is that you own an iPad and cannot explain concepts very well. Please explain what you want this for, how it will work, how it will look, and overall the whole point of making this plugin?

So you would be willing to spend hundreds of USD on Minecraft accounts with clash of clans skins all at $20+ a piece?

Even a rich guy would buy that. That's just plain fucking stupid.

EDIT: Just found out their are 23 Characters in Clash of Clans.

20 x 23 = $460 USD


So you are willing to spend nearly $500 to make a Bukkit Plugin work? Hmm, consider that.

 

That's called an investment. "Price is what you pay; value is what you get." W. Buffett. If you're looking to earn a reputation all amount of money in Minecraft, you'll need to put in money first. No quality developers would work for free, no designers would work for free, no one would work for free when they are experienced enough.

 

All in all, this plugin would require a custom version of the citizens plugin ( with lots of extra features, ) , a no-profit investment, lots of players/a random base generator, & lots of complicated coding.

 

timtower I suppose the plugin could handle that, but you'd have to fix it so that there were different types of troops that attacked different things, and it wouldn't be like mobs in their attack method, as they'd be attacking buildings. I suppose it's possible, but all in all the whole clash of clans plugin would require a whole load of work. If there's someone dedicated enough out there, this could become a great plugin.

 

With Citizens you don't need to have 20 barbarian skin accounts, just 1. You can create many NPC with the same username.

 

Yes but my point is you can create a skin using your iPad and upload it as a png to your computer

Mobs? Ok! Maybe barbarian with gold armor, archers with green chestplate and pink helmet...

 

Keep me updated on this please. Sounds awesome. But not many people play clash of clans as much as some of us so you really need to re-explain. SkyJake

 

I know the game. I am first imagining all the codes in my head then I decide to code or not.
