Christmas Snow fall

I would like a plugin that makes all biomes when activated start snowing!

On every restart a new map is generated, its a hungergames server, so On server load it needs to generate all biomes into snow.

 

There are actually two possibilities.

• You can change the server-texture-pack (It's just the look)
• You can change every biome to a winterbiome and change them back after X-mas (Real Snow)

And for both solutions you can already find some plugins on "dev.bukkit.org".
They are called Seasons-Plugins
E.g.:
1. Change Texture-pack.
2. Changebiomes

 

With world edit select region you want to snow and do //setbiome snow or iceplains

We are still on 1.6.4 so we cant use server textures, also Changebiomes gives errors.

How do you activate it? Because it says they were removed until 1.7

 

It was broken, giving glitchy textures etc.

You can't, it's broken. You would have to change the biome, textures/sounds (Make a Christmas Pack) or have a server with a Mod on it. Because the snowing and raining is compiled internally. So, you'd have to mod the .jar to get real snow in other biomes.
