Hello. Here is my new plugin request - plugin that makes snowy weather on whole map. Plugin category: Fun Suggested name: Let it snow What I want: Plugin which turn on snowy weather on whole map with a command /snow. Options in command: reqired parameter on/off to turn this weather on or off, and optional duration like in Essentials: s - seconds, m - minutes, h - hours, d - days (in realtime). If not specified duration it will snow our map to time, when we enter command /snow off. It will be simple Ideas for commands: - /snow [on/off] (duration) example: /snow on 12h Ideas for permissions: none When I'd like it by: Yesterday (Greetings, mbaxter)
I think (I could be completely wrong ) that you could only achieve this by turning all of the bits that are snowing into a snow biome, otherwise it would show as rain Nice christmas idea though
You could save the biome, and temp change it, if thats even possible, xD (I really want this for Christmas Day on my server)
Could it be changed back..? Some spawns (mine) use water in parts of they're spawn to get around, and it would freeze.
Just had a genius idea! If we use packets, then the world could stay the same and act normally and only a packet saying everything was a cold snow biome NA DA DA DAAAA!!!!
nice idea, do u think u could have it out by December, I would like that a lots And if you want to make the plugin be more popular do something like this: /temp, /temperature If temp changing possible /tempall [world name] [tempature] make a packet saying the world tempature /tempbiome [biome] [tempature] if possible a packet saying the temp of a certain biome /tempdefault set the packet(s) to temp default config /biome ,/bio /bioall [world name] [biomename or data value] make a packet saying the world biome /biobiome [biome to change from] [biomename/data value you want to change it to] make the biome different w/ packet /biodefault change back to the default /alldefault change biome and temp packets to default If this is a challenge do it!!!! If this is easy do it!!!! If this is average, Do it!!!! the point is DO IT!!!!!!!! PPPPLLLLEEESSSSSEEEEE!!!!! Please get back to me.
Here are some packets of interest that may help someone out. Packet51MapChunk Packet56MapChunkBulk Packet71Weather Packet 71 I think just triggers weather, you can't say what kind as it only takes in an Entity to the function. I'm guessing you'll need to send chunk data with the correct biome?
