I wonder if I could have some help configuring this plugin. I am using PermissionsBukkit in conjunction with this plugin. I want to make it so when a user chats, it is of the format:

    Code (Text):
    1. [World][Rank]name: message
In my Permissions config.yml I have the following set for each group (Admin as example):

    Code (Text):
    1.  mchat.prefix.admin: true
    And in mChat's config.yml I have:

    Code (Text):
    1. format:
    2.
    3. date: HH:mm:ss
    4.
    5. chat: '+p+dn&f: +m'
    6.
    7. name: +p+dn&e
    8.
    9. event: +p+dn&e
    10.
    11. list: +p+dn
    And finally in mChat's info.yml I have:

    Code (Text):
    1. groupnames:
    2.
    3. new: '[New]'
    4.
    5. user: '[User]'
    6.
    7. admin: '[Admin]'
When a user chats though, it just says:

    Code (Text):
    1. name: message
I believe your plugin is being loaded correctly by Bukkit because the word censor is working (typing 'f**k' becomes 'fawg'); but the names appear not to be working. Can anybody assist me? I would be very grateful for any help.

Where do you download this? I can only see the download link for the Dev version, which I don't want.

  6. @ColaBoy42 Check on BukkitDev those are the recommended builds.

Ok then. I thought the "DEV" suffix was an indication it was a development release.

[Edit] Installed the mchat-DEV.jar, which was all I can find. I ran /reload and it hasn't done anything. I have relogged but it hasn't changed anything. My Admin Portal supports mchat, and that can't see it either. Oh well.

  8. keep getting this error a lot times :S
I hope i did something wrong or that you can fix it.

I have an idea could you add towny support because i'm not a big fan of towny chat but no other chat plugin supports this i'm not sure if it has towny support as i have not used it but could you tell me if it has it or you may implement this? thanks

  13. @MiracleM4n
is it possible to hook into the prefixing system of your plugin? i would like to add prefixes to my StarterJawbs plugin.

  14. @TopGear93 If you are tying into mChat use mChat.API. And look at all the methods that it lists. If you are using mChatSuite use mChatSuite.API. and look at the methods listed under there Also look on my BukkitDev page ( HERE ) for an almost up-to-date list of Methods you can use.

  20. So, I am using PermissionsBukkit (Which if you could tell me a better one to use that would be great) and when I add people to the "default" group in permissions mChat doesn't put the "default group" prefix in front of the players name. Soo I'm wondering how to add this prefix in front of their name after they are added to the default class in permissions! Please Help!

@MiracleM4n is there any way to disable the afk timer and afk kick part of mchat essentials ?

  22. @Spidi Make the options in the config negative values.

  23. mChat + mChatEssentials = mChatSuite ?
You might want to post some info about mChatSuite on BukkitDev and/or your first post. :)

  24. @TfT_02 == pmChat, mChatEssentials, mChat + More.

  25. I forgot pmChat. :p Btw, I think its a good idea to put them all together, most users use them all anyway. :)

I currently use GroupManager as my permissions plugin. This looks as though this is a permissions error, however. I have set the permissions for each group just as it should be, each group with its own mchat.prefix.(value). What could the problem be?

  27. @convictedsaint I will work on fixing this. I am only to assume that GroupManager has changed its API.

  28. First look at the GUI for mChatSuite that is coming (Albiet it is very ugly at this current time): http://imgur.com/a/uURiN#0
