Changing Citizens NPC Skins using any name?

I've read that NPC skins are set by their nametag. But what if i create two npc? The first npc will be the skin npc, i will create it by changing his name, but his name tag will be hidden (is that possible?). And the second npc will be the NPC that will be invisible, but his name is going to appear (like the hologram plugin). Is that a good idea? Or thats not possible?

As far as i know, hiding the npc name is not possible without spout. but maybe you can try creating an invisible entity to hide the name?

 

Mobs name can be hidden, i don't know if its possible to hide the npc name the same way.
There must be a way to do it, i will search more for players without name tags
