Solved Can't Reach Server, all settings should be correct

Hello everyone,

On my minecraft multiplayer page it is saying cannot reach server.

I am running the new beta build of craftbukkit for 1.6.2, my minecraft is updated to 1.6.2. I have port 25565 opened in windows firewall and I have the port forwarded to my local ip 192.168.1.8. canyouseeme.org says that the port is open and it can see my service running, but whenever I try to connect to my server on either the same computer thats running it or another computer, it says cannot reach server. any ideas?

UPDATE: according to http://www.ipfingerprints.com/portscan.php the port is filtered and by their definition: A port is marked as "filtered" when the packets are sent to that port, however packet filtering (e.g., firewall) prevents the packets from reaching that port.

Im not sure what to do now, the port is open in my firewall and on my router. my cable modem is nonconfigurable as well.

SOLVED: It was the most stupid thing ever. My router's firmware for some reason was horrifically out of date. I updated it and BAM it works
