can someone recommend a simple antigrief plugin

I need a plugin that works with permissions and doesn't allow certain groups to place/use/ignite certain blocks like sponges(because i use the sponge plugin) or if possible a plugin that will remove certain items from a players inventory automatically.

 

iZone. It was abandoned but it's been taken up by other plugin devs. The link for the forum post was removed from the "Get Plugins" page because it's techincally abandoned by the original dev, but it's working all the way from 531 to 617 (with different downloads of course). Here's the thread.

i currently use residence for area protections but I would like to stop players from being able to get ahold of items like tnt, boats, sponges, buckets, flintandsteel, fire, and lava right now the server is set up to prevent things like fires and explosions but i have had cases where even tho it isn't allowed a fire will still spread or tnt still explodes but the stuff that would be destroyed just shows back up, this causes lag when enough tnt is set off at once. being able to make it so some groups can't get the items at all would make this a little easier.
