Can no longer access my MySQL database, plugins cant connect.

    Server crashed last night, read timed out. Now i can no longer log into my MySQL database via phpmyadmin, nor can any plugins connect to the database? I have rebooted the whole machine, but i have no idea about MySQL or what could have caused this, does anyone have any help they could give?
