Calculating character width

    I'm writing a book plug in and I wondering what font and fontsize minecraft uses so I can calculate how much text to display to the player without flooding his chat. Is there a way to get the font/fontsize minecraft uses?

    Hi Random,

    In this thread, someone posted a text file with all character widths in it, think this will be helpfull for you.

    In addition to what I said in that thread, it may be useful to know that a line of chat is a maximum of 320 pixels wide.
