Bukkit [unofficial] Teamspeak 3 server [Voice]

Hey guys!

So basically its been suggested that the Bukkit staff create an official Teamspeak for users to come onto and discussion Bukkit matters, but because they wont back the idea (which is no problem).
I have a 512 slot Teamspeak that doesn't fill fully and I've created a 4 channels for Bukkit

General, Help, Plugin Development & a Channel for the Moderators

If a user wishes to become a moderator please feel free to send me a pm,stating why you wish to be a moderator

Anything goes under the Bukkit ToS & the Voodoo-Gaming ToS
but Please remember this Teamspeak isn't just used for bukkit it is used for other servers and private users of our gaming community.

I said redstonehost because that's a redstonehost IP. I've been with RH for 6 months

Vent is single platform and slow.
Mumble is cross platform and comparable to teamspeak in voice quality, but has a lower memory footprint.

I'd definitely participate in a mumble server, but teamspeak is an ugly interface that doesn't always accurately reflect the actual status of who is chatting for me (tested multiple systems). Waste of time installing that thing.

 

I wanted to join Bukkit Discussion but it told me "channel maxfamily reached".

Teamspeaks old interfaces were ugly but the new Teamspeak 3 one is so much better compared to vent and mumble

I was talking about TS3. The interface is like a new coder decided to throw everything he could together as quickly as possible, and not test if things even updated on time.

hey at least they aren't 12, I tempted to come back just for that reason.

 

It's a bit empty and Omnitv is the only one in bukkit help. Although he's got both his microphone and speakers muted, so it's just as good as empty. But I guess I'll stick around, maybe someone will join. At least the users in the general chat seemed friendly.

I think you were on about 3am my time so there wouldnt have been many online at that time
