Bukkit popularity?

I use spigot mostly for the forums, because there is more people( don't get me wrong, I still love this forum too! ), but this website does not seem to attract as many people. Spigot has tons of people in the forums, compared to Bukkit, but their resources do not seem to be getting as many views and downloads as here. I was wondering if more people came here to get plugins than any other website, despite the lack of people on its forums.
