Bukkit 1.7.10 won't work

Hi, yesterday I tryed to make a 1.7.10 bukkit server but it didn't work. It gives me that error :

If I try with the 1.6.4 version it works perfectely but the 1.7.10 gives me taht error.

With Spigot but this time i got this errorr:


I veryfied nothing else is using the 25565 port, I closed java from the task manager and I tryed differents ports but still the same error

If someone could help me that would be awesome !

Moved to Bukkit Alternates.

 

Something is already running on port 25565. Not related to build number or server modification.

 

But why if I try to run the 1.6.4 version it works, it uses the same port :/

 

Dunno. Just try and find out what's already running on that port. Google is great for this

 

Maybe you forgot to shut down the 1.6.4 server first?

Hi, I really don't know why but after restarting my computer like 5 times for some updates it works perfectely, bukkit and spigot

 

@PsykoZ Could just be that the thread wasn't stopped for some reason (maybe you force shut it down?), and when you restarted your computer the thread was stopped, allowing the other server to bind to the port.
