   Reddit's nerd.nu servers can push out messages every 30 minutes (or whenever) that gives a countdown to each restart they have. I was just wondering how this is done, do they use an IRC bot, is this a mod or does some poor sod sit at his desk with an alarm every 10 minutes telling him to write a message and rebooting the normal way?
   I'm just curious because it seems like a really great idea and I just want to know how it's done (well, and if I can do it too... Heh.)
