Solved "<" Before Server Rank

Hello, I've been having the problem of a ">" before the prefix of a name. I use PermissionsEx and Essentials Chat and I was thinking maybe the helpful Bukkit community could help. Thanks all!

You only need to use PEX and ChatManager. Not Essentials Chat, you can but only within the config of the essentials.

 

Wait... did I say Essentials chat?! I don't use that... sorry, a bit loopy today. I meant to say I don't.

i dont see a chat format plugin.

 

I use PermissionsEx for chat, that's all. Am I missing something?

 

yes, you need a chat plugin, like essentialschat you just deleted. put it back in and delete < > in the format in essentials config.yml
