Anyway to click on a block with a specified item and you will get the block history?

Title says it all. I could swear like logblock did this, but I guess not. Any suggestions?

LogBlock does do this. If you don't like LogBlock, there's HawkEye, BigBrother, CoreProtect, and Guardian, among others.

It looks like I need to connect a database for the tool thing to work, no wonder. Does this require paid hosting? Any recommended free/good paid hosting? Also, any guides how there on how to set it up?

 

CoreProtect (and probably others) don't need a database. It can use flatfile. Of course, this will take up memory on your computer.

 

BB doesnt work and hasnt for a long time hawkeye is the new BB

 

Does this have the tool to get block history though? That is pretty much the most important thing for meh.
