Suggested name: FactionPvpAreaPlugin

What I want: I'd like to see a plugin where when a player types /afk he/she becomes unkillable, when the player returns and moves or chats or types /back the player returns into the regular game mode. This would be very safe and reassure people when they are afk. I don't have much detail to put on, comment your questions, and I would like to see this plugin made some time soon!

Ideas for commands: /afk displays <name> is now afk in chat and when the player moves/chats/types /back it says <name> is back

Ideas for permissions: player.afk.true when /afk is typed and is false when player moves/chats/ or when /back is typed

I am somewhat new to programming but would like to attempt to make this plugin for you. I will post if I am unable to make it but I think I will be able to make this for you.

Hey according to your OP it seems that this will be used on a PVP server. So to combat people using it to cheat at pvp by doing /afk to stop from getting attacked i suggest that the command be changed to /afkeyboard or /awayfromkeyboard so it is to long to type during combat so people will not exploit /afk do you agree if so i will incorporate it into the plugin.

Or, if you want to keep the command simple, a timer. So, after they type /afk, they will not become invincible until 'x' seconds later.

 

Additionally, also make it so the timer restarts whenever they're hurt. That way they can't just type /afk, and hope they live 3 seconds for their invincibility.

Yeah, but a surprising number of people don't want to use Essentials... I guess it's too heavy or has too many features or something. Personally, I love it.

But yes, Essentials does have this feature, you have to turn on the AFK godmode/frozen feature.

EDIT: Except for that fact that /back takes you.. back. To turn off AFK you have to type /afk.
