    mhhmm the last backup would throw me back some days o.0
    the regios plugin is working if i reload the server but not on startup

    the last days i only added around 7 regions in other worlds. but my users bought many regions in the meantime. is there a way to do this on the fly? i nevery realy used the backup function of regios, i dont get realy what do to.
  3. OK don't worry about it for now then. I'll try to find a permanent solution. Besides from the startup issue is everything working OK?

    as said in the edits the blazes are spawning so i guess other "new mob spawn" issues are gone wich is great :-D
    everytime i reload the server on the fly so regios is starting there are chunk load issues.
    so it must have to do something with regios.

    i looked at my logs and no plugin seems to make problems and every plugin is loading, only regios is not at startup. and before reloading the server (and starting regios) chunks are loaded well.

    i will let you know if there are another issues.

    now the chunkload issues are gone... maybe a server load issue? im not quite sure. i will keep an eye on that.

    Adam, we are still trying to decide between regios and worldguard as our permanent protection plugin. I have a few concerns with Regios, so if you could let me know if they are ungrounded, we might go with Regios.

    1. I am concerned that after your Christmas break ends, your studies will keep this plugin from having any support at all. I am also concerned it won't have any long term support for our server which may need the same protection plugin for up to a year.

    2. I am concerned with the number of people who still have issues with your current stable build. We are reluctant to switch to your plugin since you are the only one working on it, and it seems hard for a one man team to make a plugin that works exactly as it should in every instance.

    I truly would love to have the features your plugin offers, so let me know if both of these points are wrong or not.

  7. When my Christmas break ends I will have less time but i will still have time enough to upgrade and maintain now that Minecraft updates are less frequent.

    I am a one man team but I think that most issues that have been posted are now fixed. I suggest doing some testing yourself on a test server to see if it works as intented.

    Whichever your choice I wish you the best :)

    btw theres also a long term problem wich i forgott yesterday but i have this problem since i use regios.
    my users arent allowed to build in the whole world but they still can place water and lava everywhere. o.0

    oh just checked my logs cause of another plugin and found this:

    further up the iconomy problem but i use icon 5, if its doesnt supported by default anymore i need to do something.

    As for iConomy people should have migrated to 6? Is it hard to do not, is a patch not provided?

    hard things i have learned in the years of hosting a server now ---> never change a running system :-D but i will look if i can upgrade next time. ^^

    did it now :-P and it works, but as i expected i had to merge every iconomy account by hand cause the iconomy6 convert system doesnt works.... :-P

    Thanks man I'll try it now and let you know how it goes.

    Still no luck on a fresh install. There has to be something out of place somewhere but i just can't find it. When I have some time I'm going to play with a new test server. Need to get back home though so I can use all my machines.

    I thought it was working at first, but it was only preventing a break from the regios tool. When I switched to something else, it let me break and build with the message "Building in region: X" when building.

    Sorry for this wild goose chase. It seems to be working for other users, dunno why it won't for me. Could it be my version of Java? Any other debugging tools you have built in?

    If you want to look into it more with me, you're welcome to test on my server.

    Yes, I was using protect-all. I have tried that with a combination of protect-bb and protect-bb separately. I'm going to go ahead and do another fresh install and we can start figuring out what's wrong.

    I am having the same problem. I have selected and created a large region named spawn. However, it appears that when I de-op myself, I can still break blocks, except for the normal spawn protection. I've tried different set points, and the set points in the spawn.rz file are accurate to the set points made in game. I've even tried setting the owner of the region to a fictional player. None of this worked. Is there any advice you can give me, or somewhere to look?

    I have this same problem. I can make a region just fine, complete with entry and exit messages. However, once I enable all protection, lock doors, change the owner to a fake player, and then de-op myself (both through command and through ops file and server restart), I am still able to break blocks, place blocks, and open doors. I have done a fresh install and come across the same problems each time.

    EDIT: I realized that part of my problem was failing to delete the exception for myself after transferring ownership. After doing this, the doors now lock properly, however I am still able to break and place blocks despite protection being enabled and receiving the "this area is protected by" message.

    EDIT 2: Fixed my issue. My gamemode was set to 1 (creative). Switching it to 0 caused it to work properly. Anyone else having these problems should check this.

    Awesome. This solved my problem. You must have changed this in the past few versions Adam because I don't ever remember Regios having this functionality. Either that or my install has been broken since day 1. :p

    But yeah, it appears to be working great now. Thanks Adam for the great work on the plugin and to everyone here for the help.

    - regios.restrictions.size2

    The problem is, these nodes should be size10 and amount 2, but the node of size its not working, and the regios.restrictions.10 its working like size, if i set - regios.restrictions.2 ppl are not able to make regions bigger than 2x2, fix that plz...

    Hi everyone,

    Is there a setting that I can turn on that will allow me to set off tnt in a protected area?
  25. Areas protected using 'General' protection are protected from TnT.

    I disabled the general protection and still no tnt works. I used /r protect <area name> to toggle it... is this correct?
    I am using the latest version of Regios.

  27. Hmm are you sure? I'm pretty sure that general protection disables tnt ignition if it's in an 8 block radius of any region. Have you tried what happens when setting protect-all : /regios protect-all regionname

    Lol... /regios protect regionname certainly is disabling tnt properly. What I want is to allow tnt to explode within one of my protected areas.:D

    Still does not work. Maybe I'm using the wrong command? /r protect <area name>
    When I use this command it toggles a message saying that it is either protected or not.
