You may wonder, why so many tags? Well, that is because this plugin simply contains a lot of features that fall under those tags! I originally made (parts of) this plugin for our server, but it proofed to be a 'publishable' plugin as well. :)

This plugin features everything related to worlds. Features:
    • Load, unload, copy, delete, save and create worlds
    • Show information of worlds and list available chunk generators and worlds
    • Set world game mode, difficulty, time, weather, autosaving, PvP
    • Set world mob spawn restrictions
    • Evacuate worlds to clear them from players
    • Repair broken worlds to some extend
    • Make portals cross-world, one-way, simple, no commands needed
    • World-specific chat rooms using permissions
    • Automatically load worlds when the server starts and persistent settings
    • Extensive permission system, you can even set who can enter what world
    • Can act as a tool for other plugins to teleport players from one world to the other
    • Simple teleportation commands
    • Set OP lists for specific worlds to make players operator on certain worlds
    • Easy-to-remember commands: with aliases and chat-message help

For configuration, commands, etc, look on the BukkitDev page under Links.
All documentation pages are now on Bukkit Dev.

    Known bugs:
    - None
Disclaimer (because things CAN go wrong)

I am not responsible for world damages done by this plugin or by certain commands this plugin performs. If you, for example, loaded 20 worlds and hosted it on a buggy computer with 30 players, odds are the server (and your computer) will crash and worlds become corrupted. Repair can fix worlds, but this does not recover damaged chunks, so don't think you are always covered. Also, never forget to make backups of your worlds, but I guess this is common sense...

    - Different inventories per world? No, you can use World Inventories for that.
    - Or try MultiInv while it is still maintained.
    - Repair ruined your world? Backup of region files can be found in the region folder, simply restore.

No problem, still weird Permissions is hidden in one of those three plugins... :)

okay, don't know don't care, main thing is that it's working and that's all i wanted:D

Ok updated the plugin, permissions are DISABLED by default. If you want to use Permissions with this plugin, enable it manually in the config.yml!

    Any plan for SuperPerms support?
  6. Offline

I could do that actually, since I added a configuration now anyway. I'll look into it.

Ok added support for SuperPerms in v1.02. Also moved some command handling code around to make it look 'cleaner'. :)

Thank you! This is exactly what I needed.

I'm currently working on a server and will soon have no internet so I'm going to work on it offline. Is there a singleplayer version of myworlds or something like it?

MyWorlds works in Offline mode too.

Fucking awesome and easy to use

How do I install it in single player. I know I had to do a bunch of stuff to add world edit to single player, is it the same with this?

I loved the idea of this plugin (specifically the load/unload, evacuate, and copy commands), but every time I restart my server, MyWorlds forgets which ones I had loaded the previous session. Is this expected behavior?

Edit: I was asking because I intended to use another plugin's portal system (buried signs are fine, but I dislike having to use the native MC portal effect/blocks) and I was worried MyWorlds would make me load my secondary world manually in order to use the other plugin's portals. However, I've discovered that just having an open portal to that world (not even using it) via that other plugin is enough to load the world. Good enough!

@Laseric if you meant a Singleplayer mod, I can make mods but it would probably take too long for me to convert it. Maybe someone is willing to do it... :)

@Rofang It should keep worlds loaded when reloading, maybe some sort of Craftbukkit update I haven't noticed. And yes, it will load all worlds a portal is in. You can simply add a portal with sadasdas as name and no destination and it will load the world automatically. Haven't thought of that use before, but it does work.

Is it possible to make the travel time slower? Because every time I enter one, the teleport speed is so fast, I can't get out of the portal!
  15. Offline

I did set a delay of one second between teleportations, I'll have to hook into some event to check if a player 'is there', my guess is that the teleport at the client took more than one second. I'll look into it.. :)

It appears to be a client-sided problem...I'll make the portal use delay configurable. (standard is 2000 ms, 2 seconds)

Awesome! Because I tried to get out of the portal, and it just teleporting me back and forth, so I had to kick myself out of my own server!

Had to update TrainCarts first (last-minute now updating MyWorlds. :)

The download link is dead? But from what I've read in the description sounds like a great idea :D

@Dave_JK you saved my life man! I uploaded TrainCarts to MyWorlds.... xD

Also, all fixed now. MyWorlds can be downloaded from github again.

it says i dont have permission to use the plugin and the only other plugin i have is the basic essentials. please help.
  21. Offline

Delete the plugins\MyWorlds\config.yml file and try again. It should use OP permissions then. (You do need OP to load, unload and create worlds, see first post)
  22. Offline

I deleted it and then tried again but it didnt work. The config file was there again
  23. Offline

That's correct behaviour, it regenerates the config.yml.
Ow oops, I had changed this for some reason but can't remember that I changed it...ow well.
Open up config.yml in notepad and change the 'true' after 'useSuperPerms: ' to false.

Also, uploaded MyWorlds again so it sets it to false by default. (as it should be!)
  24. Offline

Thank you. for some reason that didnt work. i then re-installed it and the i changed it to false.

On windows server, it works. But on linux server, there is a save error: [SEVERE] [MyWorlds] Failed to save portal configuration to file: plugins/My Worlds/portals.txt
  26. Offline

Nothing else in the log? In that case it could be an access problem. Try the following:
    - Server off
    - Remove portals.txt
    - Start server
    - Make a portal
    - Reload -> Error here?
    - Make another portal
    - Reload -> Error here?
    - Make another portal
    - Remove portals.txt
    - Reload -> Error here?

Somebody told me that I could run my server locally offline but I'm not sure how to.
  28. Offline

Set the 'online-mode' to false in your server's properties file. (Open with notepad). Then set the IP to your own IP as usual, or, if you used some sort of online proxy/host, set it to to make sure it is local, and join it.

    this looks nice

Liking the plugin a lot only problem i have come across so far is that the portal block wont rotate to the direction i want. it tried to fill it sideways any idea how to fix that?

Could you add a way to fill it with water maybe? like just stop it flowing out?

because that would fix my rotation problem and would provide a way to not have the sound from the portal if you don't want that.

EDIT by Moderator: merged posts, please use the edit button instead of double posting.

The rotation problem is caused by Minecraft itself; it always orients portals in a certain way. By making it 2-wide you can solve that.

Not sure about the water, I will probably make that configurable then...or people get teleported when they jump into a nearby lake... :p

I'll simply stop the water from flowing when near a portal...
