I lost my interest in making bukkit plugins, so this plugin needs someone who will maintain it in the future. If you are interested in, pn me.

Description:
With this plugin you (admin) can express your rage for annoying people through weather.
Your mood is seperated in 3 levels:

• Low: Sky gets dark and it starts raining
• High: raining, thunder
• Deadful: rain, thunder and you can throw bolts on the player(s) (with mouse or chat) because of whom you are in rage!

Uses permissions otherwise ops.

Usage:

• AdminRage:
• /adminrage [on|off]
• /adminrage override //overrides the angry admin (unrages the angry admin, doesn't matter who is it)
• /adminrage level - display current rage level
• /adminrage level [Low|High|Deadful]
  • Low: Sky gets dark and it starts raining
  • High: +thunder storm
  • Deadful: Play Zeus and toss deadful bolts with your hands!
• /adminrage [throw|toss] [<player>|<EntityId>] (<amount>) - toss bolt on player (only on Deadful)

Features

• Express your rage through weather
• notify all players on server about the rage of the admin. eg.
  • Somebody provoked an admin!
  • Admin got even more angry!
  • Admin calmed down a little bit.
  • ...
• throw bolts with your hands
• throw bolt automatically on player if out of range (less amusing)

Permissions:

• adminrage.general
• adminrage.override

Properties

• leveldown=Admin calmed down a little bit.
• on=Someone provoked an admin!
• levelup=Admin got even more angry!
• off=Admin calmed down
• boltonplayer=Boom! Krapusch! ZZZZPZPZZZPZZZ--! crack!
• boltonplayernum=10 #Number of bolts that will be throwen at command

Note: It will NOT edit/delete the properties when new properties are available!

TODO:

• more/better broadcasting messages
• add colours to (broadcasting) messages
• make the night last forever if in rage

Can you or anyone else, tell me please, what is missing or I have to change? I have no idea and I want that AdminRage will be moved to Plugin Releases soon.

 

Sorry, yesterday there were like 40 plugins waiting, so had no time. But except for the header missing (edited) you figured that out pretty well anyway.

 

I thought that it would be cleary enough if the header is very large above it (title) .

Does it allow biome changes? I do for example, /weather storm with CommandBook and yet...it starts to snow.

 

It doesnt do biome changes, but you can control/shut off the weather. Perhaps you can. I'm not sure completely though.

 

Afaik i is not possible to change rain/snow because snow is the same as rain but with other texture and only occours in snow biomes.

 

Hmm, well. I'm about to take the plugin on a final drive, then apply it to my server.

How do i increase my ragelevel?

 

/adminrage level [Low|High|Deadful]

| indicates a "or" -> Choose one of the levels between the []
eg.
/adminrage level High

 

can you please update to CB 860 because when I use the plugin it sais

"2011-06-15 23:17:14 [WARNING] [AdminRage] Unable to write properties file!"

 

I think that it has nothing to do with the bukktit build because I don't use bukkti to write files. Despite that error, the plugin should work with the default config. Are all other plugins able to write their files?
Looking into it as soon as possible (maybe next two weeks, but I can't promise)!

EDIT: I think, I found it but I'm not sure. I'll change and test as soon as possible.
temporary Workaround: create the folder "AdminRage" in your plugins directory.

every time i use this it says i dont have permission. how do i fix that?

 

Do you have Permissions installed or do you use Op? If you use Permissions, make sure you have '*' or 'adminrage.general' as permissions. Else you have to write your name in "ops.txt" in you bukkit-folder.

I don't know if this plugin works (I haven't testet it) but it seem to:

 

i have '*' as permissions. also when the server starts up it says it is unable to write properties for adminrage.

so i got it to work, it is amazing. it is so fun, and the people are actually more respectful xD great plugin

I use Phoenix Permissions and I see that it is no further developed :/
I don't know if anything changed in the New Permission

Sorry, I didn't follow all changes for ages but I heard that there is a new permissions API. Nothing more.

I made this in abot 5 min. I have no clue how the new api works. You have to test this version yourself.

 

ummm help.. im the admin in the server and it says i dont have permission to use that command...

 

What version of my plugin (permissions plugin or bukkitAPI) and how do you give yourself permissions (op, permissions plugin, bukkitAPI)?

 

I would like to have a function to like disable some commands when admin gets angry... like disable /spawn, /home, /warp.
