    I been developing a plugin that has required the use of external servers. The external servers tend to cost money. The plugin depends and needs that server but its costly. Is it proper to ask on the plugin main page for donations to help keep the server running? I do not want to keep the server up by myself.

    - P. S. The server is not Minecraft, nothing to do with Minecraft server hosting. Its only purpose is to service the plugin. Just to make things more clear.

    Necrodoom Thank you, It does. Also is it common to receive donations or what should I expect in terms of support of a plugin project?
