1.7 More RAM Intensive?

    Hey everyone! So, I've been noticing that the RAM usage on my server has been increasing drastically, yet I havent made any changes. I even removed some unnecessary plugins and worlds, yet my RAM usage still seems to be very high :( Does 1.7 just use alot more RAM and if so would it be reduced by the time a Recommended Build is out?

    I hope :) Though java has a built-in memory control system, I think Bukkit should try to incorporate it's own memory management system to keep RAM usage low on servers. Doing so would have a ridiculous amount of benefits :)
