Hello, I have head that something big will happen with 1.4 update, something about plugins API? Which i dont really understand. How will that affect plugins? Will all of them break and will be needed to update? Let's discuss a lil bit about 1.4 = )
Any mention of an API seems to be gone from http://www.minecraftwiki.net/wiki/Version_history/Development_versions suggesting that the API won't be ready for 1.4. In any case, when the API is ready, Bukkit plugins won't suddenly break (assuming CraftBukkit continues to be updated - no reason to suppose it won't be). The API will be an alternative way of writing mods, hopefully with some client control too. If it's good enough, expect a lot of plugins to be ported to it.
