Desle, I have no idea since when, I just know that Unicode glyphs render as ? if that's turned off.
Remember, you also have to enable Unicode in the client.
Options... -> Language... -> Force Unicode Font

Hmm, I don't think you can forcibly unload chunks from the client.
Even if I unload a chunk on the server, the client will have it in their chunk...
Perhaps if it was formatted as a proper request, I'd bother reading it.

Protective auras protect against the placement of blocks adjacent to locked ones. It won't stop existing blocks from functioning.
Very odd that the Entity.teleport methods don't cause a teleport event.
That's the only way I can see that neither method would work.
